Mazda BT-50 2021 review walkaround – new pick-up ute

The Mazda BT-50 is a new ute / pick-up from Mazda, now based on the trusty Isuzu D-Max platform. The BT-50 used to be based on the Ford Ranger, but that’s no longer the case. A brand new vehicle, now styled to look more like a Mazda CX-9 SUV, the BT-50 will compete with the Volkswagen Amarok, Toyota HiLux and Nissan Navara. The BT-50 will use a 3L diesel engine. But will it be the best truck of the lot? To get some first impressions, Tom checks out the new Mazda ute in Melbourne. What do you think of the new Mazda BT-50? Do you think it beats a Ford Ranger inside and out? Let me know all your thoughts in the comments.
