Egypt’s el-Sisi orders army to be ready for missions abroad

Libya’s UN-recognised government has denounced the Egyptian president’s threats of military intervention. President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi says his army is ready step in if Libya’s GNA forces advance on the strategic city of Sirte. This comes after GNA forces captured significant ground against renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar over the past month.
