Venezuelan migrants brave deadly Atacama Desert to get to Chile

Thousands of Venezuelans escaping poverty and violence at home are risking their lives by crossing one of the driest places on earth, the Atacama Desert, to reach Chile. The route is attracting criminals who prey on these people, who are not legally allowed to be in Chile and yet keep coming, driven to find a livelihood to support their families.
