India COVID patients ‘die due to oxygen shortage’

India’s critical shortage of life-saving oxygen continues. As many as 24 patients, including those with COVID-19, died in a hospital in Karnataka state after it ran out of oxygen. India’s hospitals are struggling to deal with the world’s steepest surge in cases. The country reported more than 350,000 cases and 3,400 deaths on Monday.
